Who Can Apply

  • Individuals having minimum Educational Qualification: Graduate/Post Graduate in Sociology / Social Work / Gender Studies / Human Rights / Peace and Conflict Studies / Social Sciences / Culture or relevant field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience working in development projects or humanitarian aid initiatives, preferably in a field-based role. Experience in project management, community engagement, and team leadership is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders, including local communities, government officials, and partner organizations.
  • Jharkhand-based would be preferred. Should have cultural sensitivity and awareness, with the ability to work effectively in cross-cultural settings and respect local customs, traditions, and values.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in challenging and unpredictable conditions, including remote or conflict-affected areas, with a willingness to travel frequently.
  • Proficiency in the local language(s) of the region where ISD operates, as well as proficiency in English (or other relevant languages) for effective communication and reporting.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and evaluation techniques, budget management, handling logistical aspects of field operations and reporting standards.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office – Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
